Intellectual Property
The VCM technology is the subject of several U.S. and international patents and patent applications, which are assigned to Aztec IP Company, LLC (Aztec). The broad scope of these patents reach into mechanical, thermal, electro-magnetic, acoustic and optics material designs, with scalability to macro, micro and nano levels. Armor Designs has the worldwide, exclusive, perpetual licensing rights to the VCM process as it applies to armor pursuant to the Aztec License Agreement. In addition, Armor Desings licenses know-how relating to the VCM technology from Hawthorne & York, International, Ltd. (HYI) a company wholly owned by Dr. James St Ville, pursuant to a technology license agreement.
